Stormens Ekko (book)
The mission of the book, Stormens Ekko/The Echo of the Storm, is to explore a force that has long been contained or diminished — something potent and ancient still vibrating beneath the surface. Through painting, sculpture, textile, film and sound, the works seek to open a space where inner and outer storms meet — where ancient moods move through digital webs, and where Rán, the Norse goddess of the sea, returns.
The book gathers images and reflections from the process and the exhibition Stormens Ekko – En opdagelse af havgudinden Rán at Vendsyssel Kunstmuseum, DK in 2025. The theme is also unfolded via texts by Sine Kildeberg, Anne Sofie Langer Jordt, Astrid Brincker Olson and Marie Vinther. The show is photographed by Niels Fabæk, and the book is designed by Hedda Bank.
